FISH FRY DINNER AT OCEAN SHORES
Living in Western Washington we love to try new restaurants and do all the outdoorsy things we can try!
This last weekend the razor clam season reopened and we headed to Copalis Beach to get our limits. We decided to have dinner at one of the local spots afterwards so I hit the internet for a new place to try.
We ended up at Bennett's Fish shack in Ocean Shores and loved it. It's a newer restaurant with a walk up counter you go to and order then find your seat. The decorations are perfect for a fish shack and make you feel right at home to enjoy their fish fry menu.
I ordered the cod and clam strip combo and ate every bit of it. My husband ordered the dungeness crab cocktail with a ceasar and enjoyed that as well.
They do mix up their batter which was odd since the beer battered cod was so delicious that I wasn't sure why my friends halibut was a different batter but hers was so crispy and fresh it didn't matter.
I would say give it a try the next time you are in town, but be prepared to wait if its busy it definately is a popular place.
